Customer Invitation Day 2026

Recently, Lubbe Lisse hosted three successful Inspiration & Study Days at its own site in Lisse, under the theme: “From cost item to investment: the value of urban green.” Over several days, municipalities, designers and green professionals came together to connect knowledge, practice and innovation.

The programme featured inspiring presentations and hands-on demonstrations. At the trial grounds, a range of planting solutions was showcased, including bulb mixes, perennials and green mat systems. Combined with insights from Groen op de balans by Tom Bade, it clearly demonstrated how strategic greening contributes to health, liveability and broader social value.

Alongside knowledge sharing, there was a strong focus on networking and collaboration. Valuable conversations took place around the trial site with partners and specialists, bringing practice and implementation together. In the afternoon, the programme continued with a cycling tour towards Keukenhof, allowing participants to experience the landscape and real-life applications up close.

On the third day, the International Day took place, welcoming international guests for presentations, demonstrations and a visit to Keukenhof. This day offered a broader perspective on the global relevance and application of innovative green space management in public environments.

Last Friday, the programme concluded with the annual Bollenstreek Cycling & Networking Day, where partners explored the region through both recreational and sportive cycling routes across the Bollenstreek. The day ended with a networking reception and BBQ, closing the series of spring events in an informal and energetic atmosphere.
