At Lubbe & Sons, we supply organic bulbs to municipalities, landscapers, project developers and other professional clients. Organically grown bulbs can support biodiversity and provide a natural source of food for insects such as butterflies and bees.

We aim to use organic bulbs wherever possible. However, the availability of organically grown bulbs in the Netherlands is still limited. Sustainability is not a label, it's a process. Where fully organic cultivation is not available, we use high-quality bulbs from non-organic cultivation that are grown in accordance with strict environmental and quality standards. This ensures reliable growth, vigorous flowering and low-maintenance planting for your projects.

Uses and mixes

Lubbe & Sons offers two standard SKAL-certified mixes within our organic range. They are suitable for:

• Intensively managed grass: ideal for municipal flowerbeds, green spaces and parks that are mown regularly
• Extensively managed grass: suitable for verges, swales and large areas of green space where maintenance is kept to a minimum

These mixes provide long-lasting flowering, plenty of colour and ecological value. Where appropriate, they can be combined with high-quality bulbs from non-organic cultivation to complement the planting scheme.
