Blushing Mix

Our Blushing Mix is an early-flowering bulb mixture that brings colour to outdoor spaces from February onwards. Flowering begins with yellow botanical crocuses, followed by purple crocuses and finally Tulipa pulchella violacea. This creates a colourful and varied spring display from February to April. The early flowers also provide a valuable food source for bees and other pollinators.

Planting and planting density

For a flower-rich result, we recommend a planting density of 325 bulbs per m².

Location and soil

This mix performs best in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. The mixture is suitable for intensively managed areas and can be used effectively in locations that are mown regularly. Good soil preparation helps the bulbs establish well and can guarantee yearly spring flowers.

Application

Our Blushing Mix is suitable for intensively mown areas where a short and colourful spring display is desired. Examples include verges, lawns, public gardens and other green strips. The early flowering bulbs bring colour to outdoor spaces from February onwards and provides food for early pollinators during this time. After flowering, the area can return to its regular management regime.
