Dutch Glory

Dutch Glory Mix

Dutch Glory Mix brings the colours of the Netherlands to life in public spaces. The combination of yellow, purple and white crocuses, red tulips, chionodoxa, muscari along with white daffodils creates a colourful and varied spring display from February to April. The different bulbs flower in succession and are suitable for naturalising. This creates a natural flowering display that adds atmosphere and interest while also providing food for bees and butterflies.

  • Early food source for pollinators
  • Suitable for naturalising

Location and soil

This mix performs best in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Good soil preparation helps the different bulbs develop well and flower again each spring. As the mixture is suitable for naturalising, it can also continue to develop and spread in the right location.

Application

Dutch Glory Mix is suitable for public spaces where early spring colour and a natural appearance are desired. Examples include parks, public gardens, verges and green strips. The combination of red, white, yellow, blue and purple tones creates a recognisable Dutch colour palette and brings atmosphere to outdoor spaces early in the season. At the same time, the flowers provide food for bees and butterflies, helping the mixture contribute to biodiversity.
