In the Green
Some spring flowering bulbs respond well to being planted 'In the Green'. That is with the leaves on, either just before, during, or after flowering, depending on your needs. We are able to offer you a small, but comprehensive range for bulbs that prefer this method of planting. For best results, we arrange for the bulbs to be lifted a few days prior to your planting date, and it is important that you plant them as soon as possible after delivery to ensure the best results.
Involve your local community
Prolong the planting season and enhence the bio diversity in your park or public green spaces with our 'In the Green' bulbs. Because the plants can be planted by hand it is a great way for community involvement.
Availability from January till April
Availability begins in January with Eranthis and Snowdrops, and ceases in April with Native Bluebells bringing the planting season to an end. Also available are: Galanthus, Allium, Native Bluebells, Hyancinthoides. Our 'In the Green' concept is only available in the UK.
