125 Years of Lubbe Lisse: an anniversary Evening to be proud of

Official start of royal recognition

The evening began with the premiere of a new company video, created by Vincent Snoeker from Studio Gradi. It summarised Lubbe Lisse’s rich history and 125 years of expertise, commitment and growth in just a few minutes.

The video was followed by an official ceremony in which Lubbe Lisse was awarded the title of Royal Warrant Holder. Mayor Lies Spruit and the King's Commissioner, Wouter Kolff, presented this royal honour on behalf of His Majesty the King. Together, they unveiled the accompanying coat of arms.

An informal, celebratory evening

After snacks and drinks at the reception, guests listened to a short, personal speech by members of the fifth generation of the Lubbe Lisse family. This was followed by a highly original buffet, served from food trucks, instead of a traditional dinner. From Italian pasta to burgers and poké bowls - a relaxed atmosphere was key.

Dessert was served in a playful manner too: guests rang a bell, after which a hand holding a dessert appeared from the wall - a surprising and humorous touch.

Even a visit to the toilet was an experience: toilet attendants Beb & Toos were on hand with music and humour.

Music and experience

Trumpeter Jeffrey Parmentier got the party off to an energetic start, after which DJ Nathalja Nattal took over. The dance floor was full until the early hours of the morning.

For visitors from further afield, parking was provided at Keukenhof, plus comfortable shuttle buses from Beuk to the site.

The event was organised by Hanneke van Wieringen (Han's on Board) and Karin Heppener. Everything went smoothly thanks to their commitment and attention to detail.
