A work of art connecting our past and our future

During our 125th anniversary celebration, we were touched to receive symbolic contributions from so many people around us, family, friends, colleagues, business partners, and all who hold us dear.

We are deeply grateful for this support!

Thanks to this generosity, we ware able to create a beautiful Giant Bulb. The artwork was designed by the Gildemeesters Bollenstreek and exquisitely painted by artist Nicoline de Lijzer.

Our family story within the Jubilee Bulb

The bulb tells the story of our family business:

  • Actaea - the daffodil symbolising our past
  • Felicitas - representing our future and strength

Created to mark our 125th anniversary, this Giant Bulb not only celebrates our history, but also pays tribute to craftsmanship and our deep connection with the region.

The Giant Tulip Bulbs Cycle Route

The Jubilee Bulb is part of the Giant Tulip Bulbs project, in which around 80 Giant Bulbs are placed throughout the Bollenstreek. Together, they form a 125 km cycle route from Leiden to Haarlem, a unique way to experience art, heritage, and nature!
